What is 56Fitt?

56Fitt is a 8 week Nutrition, Exercise and weight-loss program.   56Fitt was developed and designed by two skilled and creative women, Holly McVey and Melanie Smith. Together they have over 14 years in the fitness industry training clients, coaching and managing multiple gyms. What they bring to you, the athlete, is their knowledge, dedication and continued support to help you reach your goals on your fitness journey.

56Fitt Exercise Program

56Fitt is dedicated to helping you, the athlete, be successful!  Whether exercising in the gym or at home getting yourself motivated and moving is our goal.  Here's what we offer

  1. 3 weekly training sessions
  2. At home workouts
  3. 56Fitt check in Buddy (to keep motivated and on track)
  4. 56Fitt weekend run club 
  5. Modifications for beginners, injuries and muscle soreness


  •  When I first signed up for this program at my sister Embers  urging I was nervous, being very out of shape and knowing how much a  bootcamp program will push you. But today I ran my first 5k and am so  happy and proud of myself! This has pushed me but I have gained so much.  New found strength and some wonderful new ladies that are so  encouraging! thanks to everyone at the gym and a huge thanks to my  sister and Kelsey Graham and her mom Tina for being my partner in this. Couldn't have done it without you awesome ladies! 


  • Reason #837463 why I love Rebel Mel’s...Melanie Smith had a bowl of water       waiting for my Sam to drink after we finished our  5K. To running her own 5K and then stopping and thinking to put out  water for my dog is AMAZING. It’s things like this and the awesome  people there that make the 30 min drive totally worth it. Kudos to my sweet boy for running his first 5K. He is now passed out on the couch.
  • "When I found out I was pregnant with number two I made it my personal goal to continue working out and to not gain as much weight as I did with Chloe. So far I am 30 weeks and hitting both goals. And let's be honest I have days or moments when I can't do something because of being pregnant but a girl can still workout!! I may not be able to touch my toes but I can throw them up on a wall or drop it down and give my coaches squats. I love my group of woman and my two coaches (Holly McVey and Melanie Smith) without you all and the support of my husband (Colin Mclane, he needs credit after all he pays for them to kick my ass) I wouldn't be where I am today. Thanks Holly for the shout out and thank you everyone for your kind words and support through this pregnancy."

  • Thank you all for your support and encouragement on the 800 today! It's hard to catch your breath when you're getting choked up from all the feels. You guys are truly amazing. It's so great to be in a place where you don't have to feel one ounce of embarrassment for coming in DEAD last, but instead you feel EMPOWERED! You guys crushed it today!

  • "So many positive things happen from 56 Fitt. Just wanted to share a personal story. I've had chronic hypertension and elevated heart rate since early 20's (darn genetics), treated with cardiac meds since age of 26. I'm currently taking a really low dose cardiac med and wondering if I need it at all now. BP this morning is 107/68 and pulse of 58. This is unbelievable.  I thought it was a fluke at first but it's consistently so much better the last couple months."

  • So to start off... I signed up for this bootcamp 2 months ago and honestly I didn't know what to expect at all! I had not worked out in several years, embarrassed to say over 6 years ago . I had been to countless Gyms and Classes and none of them were a fit so I always just quit and gave up. I can definently say the first day I walked into Rebel Mel's Fitness Center the feeling alone was one of a kind, nothing I had felt before entering a Gym. More than just the environment, Melanie and Holly and all the other amazing people there were so welcoming and I actually felt cared about! After a lot of hard work, laughter and maybe even some tears . I can honestly say I feel like a whole new woman!!! Mel and Holly you are literally life savers. This has brought my whole family together closer and you have seriously changed my life!!! There are no words to fully explain how grateful I am. Congrats to all you amazing women and men that are part of this fitness family on your continued success, we all kicked booty this last couple months! I can't wait till next bootcamp
